Audiences is where Steerport keeps your first-party contacts and events — the substrate everything else (email, journeys, attribution, ad audiences) builds on. No third-party cookies, no rented lists.
The three pieces
- Contacts — people with an email and consent status. Import a CSV (consent confirmation is required), push them via the API, or let the site snippet identify them.
- Site tracking — drop the
s.jssnippet on a project's site to auto-capture pageviews, custom events, identities, and conversions. Anonymous visitors get an id in their own browser;steerport.identify(email)links their history to a contact. - Segments — live rules (attributes + event conditions like "clicked an ad in the last 7 days AND hasn't signed up"). They evaluate in real time and feed broadcasts, journeys, and ad-audience pushes.
Where segments go
A saved segment can target an email broadcast, trigger a journey, or be pushed to Meta as a Custom Audience (consented, hashed). Build once, use everywhere.
